Composition Age factor < 0.4 (very early lactation). Protein 330 g/kg, fat 140 g/kg, carbohydrate 400 g/kg.
Age factor 0.4 (early lactation). Protein 320 g/kg, fat 220 g/kg, carbohydrate 350 g/kg.
Age factor 0.6 (mid-lactation). Protein 290 g/kg, fat 280 g/kg, carbohydrate 330 g/kg.
Age factor > 0.7 (late lactation). Protein 260 g/kg, fat 490 g/kg, carbohydrate 80 g/kg.
All formulations also contain alpha-linolenic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, vitamins and minerals.
When to use: Complete nutrition for orphaned kangaroo joeys. Can be fed full strength from the beginning of feeding. Orphaned joeys also benefit from receiving Wombaroo Impact for 5 days when first coming into care.
Dosage and Administration: All out of pouch joeys have an age factor of 1 and all joeys confined to the pouch have an age factor less than 1. Make the following amounts of powder up to 1 L with warm preboiled water.
Age factor < 0.4. 140 g. Age factor 0.4. 180 g. Age factor 0.6. 220 g. Age factor > 0.7. 250 g.
