Ferrosan
Composition: Iron dextran complex 300 mg/mL (equiv. elemental iron 100 mg/mL).
Indications: Iron deficiency anaemia prevention in piglets.
Precautions: Ferrosan must be administered within the first 12 hours of life. Beyond that period the ability of the piglet to absorb iron from the gut rapidly diminishes.
Dosage and Administration: Piglets. 2 mL.
Presentation: Liquid (with 2 mL oral doser): 100 mL.
Storage: Store below 25 deg. C (air conditioning).
