Oxazole Cattle & Horse Drench 5L Composition: Oxfendazole 90.6 g/L. Indications: Horses. Susceptible strains of stomach hair worm (Trichostrongylus axei), roundworm (Parascaris equorum), pinworm (Oxyuris equi) and strongyles: Strongylus sp. (adults), S. edentatus (tissue stages) and at least 50% of the migrating stages of S. vulgaris. Contraindications:  Administration within seven days of treatment with bromsalans. Administration with carbon bisulfide. Do not mix with copper salts. Precautions: The ovicidal activity of this product ensures that 4 to 6 hours after dosing, virtually all roundworm eggs passed in the dung are rendered infertile, thus reducing the potential for further pasture contamination. Therefore, to be fully effective, a period of 6 hours should elapse before drenched animals are moved onto clean pasture. If it is inconvenient to hold animals for 6 hours and then move them on the same day, they may be returned to an infected pasture overnight and then moved the following day. Dosage and Administration: Shake container before use. Administer orally.Horses. 11 mL/100 kg bodyweight. Oxazole may be administered to horses at the same time as boticides containing trichlorphon. Storage: Store below 30 deg. C (room temperature) in the original container, tightly closed and in a safe place away from foods.
